I imagined that th two girls were questioning his decision to go up the tree and telling him how stupid he was. Then they left him to the task of getting down.

I think that the girls were laughing at him.

I "removed"a few cats stuck in trees during my time in the LFB, but never one this big !!

Sorry for the delay in answering your question - my Avatar was the nearest I could get to anything related to the Fire Servise. I know it's American and I served in the London Fire Brigade, but thought it would do. Perhaps one day I'll look for something more appropriate !!
