After we lost ASBO I registered us with sone local cat re-homing charities. Due to being ill with covid I had to decline the offer from one during the week for a kitten. I was gutted.

Last night, just before dark, a neighbour found two kittens abandoned in the middle of nowhere.

They are now snuggled up on my sofa in their new forever home.

They are about 10 weeks old and both female. Almost black with feint markings. They will see my vet on Tuesday.

I told Mr BM that the right cat would find us. I had no idea that two adorable little fluff balls would find us so soon.

How lovely for you - serendipity
Oh how lovely. I'm sure they couldn't have found a better new mummy and daddy.
Poor little mites - they've landed on their feet now!
So pleased for you :-) x
Lucky kittens to have found such a good home.
My friend's brother decided that he wanted a cat. A couple of days later he opened his shed for the first time in several weeks and out walked a cat.

As you say - they are out there searching for someone to adopt.
Hopefully, they won't grow up to be blood-thirsty ratters like their big brother. ♥♥
I absolutely believe that!
I bet you've fallen in love already..
So pleased for you both. Thought of any names yet?
Strange how things work out. I'm chuffed for you
How lovely! Sounds a bit like 1bike1world who found a kitten (or did she find him) in Bosnia, put her in his bike basket and she has travelled through Europe with him.
Sure your two have indeed found their forever home.
Aaaw that's lovely. Love cats but unfortunately can't have one at home. I do however sponsor Rosie who stays at Willows Animal Sanctuary. Enjoy your girls.
We have a little black and white cat who has adopted us she's brought a lot of joy to us, we haven't had a cat for about 20 years and I'd forgotten how nice it was to have one curled up in your lap purring like a train
Oh wow, that's lovely news. Photos please........when you're ready of course ;o)))
Have you chosen names yet?
How about...

Daisy and Buttercup

or

Tabitha and Tallulah

They are Charlotte and Emily. Already nicknamed Charlie Kitten and Millie Kitten.

They are very pretty little girls.

They are litter trained and well socialised, but had obviously been dumped.

I doubt they would have survived the night had they not been rescued.
I have seen some brilliant little girl cat names lately - Rebecca, Esmeralda and ... my brain has forgotten the others.

Exciting stuff!
when my husband wanted a cat, i said to wait as there would be "a sign" if we were read to have one after our other cat got run down
little did i know the 'sign' would be "kittens for sale, enquire within"!
Lovely news, BM. A happy ending for you and them.
So very very happy for you xx

I've got nothing done since 10am. I've either been cuddling them, playing with them or just watching them sleep.

Mr BM and I discussed them last night and we agreed to offer them a home if it was needed. But the person who had them overnight contacted me first thing (knowing I had lost ASBO). There were a number of offers of homes, but her children decreed they had to go to "the cat lady" (ie me) and she dropped them off.

As Mr BM got out of bed I met him on the landing with 2 furry bundles in my arms.
