Help Name A Kitten
My girls are getting a ginger kitten for Christmas (I've seen her and she's adorable) and I would like some ideas for a name. My elder daughter is crazy about Boudicca and the Iceni and there is no way I intend standing at my kitchen door, screaming,
'Boudicca! Here, Boudicca!'
I'd be strait jacketed before I could paint myself in woad. Please help because I need to be armed with great alternatives.
One last point. I'd always assumed it was genetically impossible for a ginger cat to be female. Where did that myth come from??

Jaune is yellow in french - if you anglicize the ZH sound into a J it could be Joan... or Joan Dark (Jeanne d'Arc) if you daughter wants another heroine
Amarillo (double L = Y) is yellow in spanish, orange is Anaranjada (j = H)
But remember, whatever you name it, you need only call Here Kitty Kitty, and it will come... or not, same as if you call its name.
I always had dogs as a youngster and don't really know much about cat varieties. I'm just glad I won't get lumbered with walkies!
Have a lovely Christmas In a Pickle and thank you for always being so sweet to me on AB. I appreciate your kindness.
