Got the cat settled then had to make a visit then back to a cold bed

Thing is when I wake I’m bright as a button. Dave doesn’t want a chat or a game of Snap or Happy Families so I end up peeping in here or talking to myself.
Piddling down with rain again. Kerry has been the wettest county in Ireland so far this year. Most of our socialising has had to be done in the pubs. Life is so hard sometimes. :-(

Strange that they are not interested in 4am chats!!
We have had loads of rain but it was dry and warm yesterday so finally got some tatties planted, will do some more next week over Easter.
The rain has been awful but at least our rivers are full again

We had a massive lightning strike over the village the other day. Sky dishes fried. Telephone sockets blown off walls, one started a fire in friend’s house but luckily they were in. Oddest was it burst a water pipe.
Growing up when there was thunder and lightning my mother told me it was because god was angry with me. He must have been bloody furious with me that night.

I was going to sit outside with a ciggie but I’d drown so I’m going to tuck up in bed again. Have to be up by noon for an appointment. ;-).

I have myself a holiday in Ireland later this year, always a good laugh so it is!

Thanks, it is slow progress. I am catching up on my medical appointments now. Been on the back burner for quite a while!

Looks like BIL is finally going to take some responsibility where MIL is concerned but only because his hand has been forced.
MIL asked friend to go to Dr with her where test results were discussed and more tests arranged.
Friend was then given a form to sign so the dr could discuss future issues with her.
She mentioned this on the group chat , himself wasn’t really happy and contacted brother and said you need to look at this. So Brother is going up to sign the forms.

Well yes and no, he never answers his phone and spends a lot of time in court so won’t be about to speak to the drs!

Her GP must know she has 2 sons, no need to put the friend under such pressure.
