What Is Your Favourite Dog Breed And Why?

German Shepard. At two years old I was grabbed by my skull and shook vigorously by my grandfathers dog. 24 stitches later.
I suppose you could say the breed “went to my head”.

My favourite breed would have to be German Shepherd Dogs (note the correct spelling!). However my life is currently run by my six Lancashire Heelers - they are a big dog in a small body, fiercely loyal and protective, active and yet willing to lay on the sofa till you move, funny, cheeky, very naughty, demanding and everything you could want from a dog. I wonder if a couple of those mentioned above could have been Heelers as a lot of people have never heard of them and assume they are crosses.
