Rattle snakes - The truth
Some things I'd like to know about this snake:- Do they really taste like chicken ? If so is it offered in resturants ? Can some people handle them without being bitten ? Do they have any natural predators ? How lethal is the venom ? How effective is anti-venom ? Are horses spooked by them ? Are some people imune to the venom ? What function/s do the rattles have ? Any other interesting facts ?
Thats about 10 thanks..

Get ya started...
Was in a Texas town for the annual Rattlesnake Roundup a few times, the local Pizza Hut had Pizza with the meat on it, it is different than some, it was a bit boney, and had a rather wild type taste, not much like chicken I don't think.. If I remember right.. Depends on how it is prepared...I always felt sorry for the snakes..they had demos for handleing and such, had a friend bit by one, his finger swelled up and then his hand and arm, he only got 1 fang with not much venom, but we took him to the Emergency, he had a bad reaction to the anti-venom so they had to go slow. Hope that helps a you a bit.....Most of the horses I knew if they heard the sound would react, but not sure if it's learned or instinct?
