We have a year old border collie bitch and despite letting her out regularly, she continues to wee in a particular spots in the house. how can we stop her from doing this as certain areas of the house are starting to smell like a latrine?!

they hate the smell of orange so try putting some orange essence there, they do say bitchies are harder to house train but i didnt have anymore of a problem when i had one to the dog i have now, trouble alot of the time they can still smell the scent when we cant, you can buy puppy sanatiser spray dont no if its any good tho. put her out side when ever she goes to that spot she sood soon get the message, much like potty training kids you will get slip ups but they soon come few and far between, good luck.
At the creche, we tried spraying citronella around the areas they weed on. It worked for a while but if she doesn't sniff the areas first, it probably won't deter her! Also, the only thing that gets rid of the ammonia smell is biodegradable washing powder in hot water as it breaks it down rather than masking it
