We own a five year old west highland white terrier,and lately we've noticed her nose is gradually changing pigment, from black to a light brown.can someone out there please explain what the reason might be,thanks,jim,jean.

My cat's nose has done the same. It used to be all black when she was a baby but is now almost all pink.
