Loved that Beatles, Shaney, saved it to my Yahoo and named it "posted by Shaney, actually". (Wonder what I meant.) I often save stuff that all of you post. Robinia do you remember the sneezing baby penguin you posted who startled his mother...? I showed that to my youngest kid sister and a few days later she wrote she'd watched it more than a hundred times. She goes on and on about it, she needs some kind of deprogramming program.

My mind is going. I can feel it. Yes 'course it was a panda, Robinia, I remember it well. (Now that you've told me.) In fact, I was thinking of a panda, yet wrote "penguin baby", thought to myself "hm, that don't sound right" - and reversed the word order to "baby penguin" instead... Very pleased with myself I was, too.

Coupla more years I won't be able to talk to y'all at all... Oh I hope I will, but the sad truth is that word amnesia strikes harder and earlier at a person's second language and I notice that very clearly. You know the way we all fail to retrieve the name of a neighbour or a singer or an aunt even though we've always known their name... well that's what it's often like for me, with English words in general, not just names and not just "difficult" words. But hey, I understand simple instructions and will run simple errands...


Hell, Robyn, I can't even handle myself...
