oh, this is nice. Her upstairs had a leak last month... had the gasmen in and they accidentally switched off my supply at the same time so I had no gas so to speak for two hours... it was hell... anyway they've now sent me a cheque to compensate. 500! On that basis I could go through hell on a regular basis. I wonder who I should call to arrange another cutoff?
Vin I did warn my sister that if she overheard the word grockle to give 'em one of her endearing smiles

Hi to all of the usual suspects and hi to you, woofgang. I'm DaSwede AKA Kit, I live in Stockholm and I'm a she. And I'm terribly nice, aren't I, Neti? woofy, Neti and I met up with each other this summer when she and mr N were doing their grand Nordic tour, you see. I drop by several times a week and leave a little letter. Here's today's report:
My youngest half-sister and her boyfriend were in town last weekend, not primarily to see me but we did meet for lunch and a walk. Did I tell you there's a 32 year span between my eldest, "whole" sister and my youngest "half one"... This one, she's the cabinet maker and her boyfriend is a joiner so they've been doing their new flat up together for months now.
Anyway, we had lunch at a buffet place where they've got this large, infraheated verandah by the water and we saw a catamaran. You see all sorts of boats here all the time of course as Stockholm is built on islands, but I've never seen a catamaran before. And I hadn't seen my sister's boyfriend before either, ha ha - they live down south. I liked him and I suspect he's the one she'll stay with.
My half-sisters' mother comes from the Philippines but almost all their many relatives live in San Diego nowadays, so I can only imagine what they're all going through right now with California burning.
Look at the time... logging off in half an hour.

Hi all, yes I remember Dolly, hello Kit, nice to meet you. I don't have as much computer time as I did, still in gainful (ha) employment and taking care of our elderly weimaraner, now 14, even more spoiled and demanding and loveable and husband also spoiled demanding and loveable.
I am looking forward to the parties, are we having a grotto at christmas again and what is the current Ed like does he/she ever drop in?
