right handed left footed

i am completely right handed yet i play football completely left footed. this seems to go against the 'strong side of the brain' theory can anyone explain?????

I am the same but my son is left handed and left footed it seems the only time that someone left sided is appreciated is on the football pitch

I am also right handed and left footed. Take up Martial Arts cos it really is an advantage
