Cat keeps weeing!
9 Answers
i got myself a new kitten on monday and was very impressed that she took to her litter tray straight away (shes 10 weeks ) and did a number 1 and 2 in there. Since then she has had a series of accidents, weeing on the sofa my leg and at half four this morning my bed. Any ideas? She always goes to the tray for a number two but shes not using it for number 1s. i have a trya upstairs and one downstairs in the same place havent moved them.Help?

Have you tried that crystal looking litter, you dont need to clean it out so much then as the smell evaporates. Failing that it maybe that she is smelling where she has weed and keeps going back there. Try putting her back in the tray every now and then just so she remembers. if she strarts going on the carpet pick her up and put her in the litter tray.
i know its harsh but try shutting her in the room with the tray at night and smacking a rolled up newspaper on your hand or a squirt from a water spray and putting her on the tray in the day if she has an accident, she is probably a little stressed after leaving her mum so lots of extra love the rest of the time,i know its sad but i kept my tray in my downstairs loo and used to call my kittens to come with me whenever i went(they were following me around anyway) now all 4 of my cats dont have accidents anywhere unless they are ill of course if it carires on check with vet that she hasn't got a water infection good luck
