lol - that's funny!
Baby humans don't suck milk from their daddy either - so how come they were allowed in the nipple shop?

I would assume it's because chickens aren't mammals and don't nurse their young so there's no need for nipples.

however, I would like to go into KFC and ask for two chicken breasts with nipples included - Just for reaction purposes!

Lore, you're right, I'm going on amission to do tht after work this afternoon at 3.30... will let you know how it goes on monday...;D X
hehe I think I'll give you my mobile number - I want to hear you ask for it! :oD
Mammals have no gender when they are initially forming, only later in gestation do they become male or female.
The human foetus starts off life as a female and has developed considerably before the male hormone kicks in -that's why men have nipples - If no male hormone is present then the foetus stays female!

Anyway, back to chickens - would you eat a wonderfully steamed chicken breast if there was a protruding nipple attached? :o/ yuk!
My memory is that a burst of testosterone is required at a critical stage of gestation for a male foetus to become normally male. If mistimed it can give rise to people with all sorts of gender issues.

"bewilderment about transexual chickens"
LMFAO !! Now THAT is the funniest (most bizzare) comment I have EVER read on here HA HA HA Oh God, imagine coming across that sentence out of context !! ROFL
Because it's a breast muscle. It's not the same type of breast as a human breast.

He sounds very clever to think of that - I like to think of myself as quite intelligent, but it's just never occured to me to even think of that question!!
The simple answer is that baby chickens do not feed on milk from their mothers - when they are hatched they can eat independently straight away, so no milk = no nipples!
