help!!immediate help please

my dog just escaped into the second part of my garden, the grassy area where my dad set up a small ant trap. I was at the toilet and didn't know he was in that part of the garden. The ant trap was lyk a small dome kind of thing which had poison in to poison the ants i dont know if he swallowed any but there was a very small amount of it left and i dont know how much was in there to start with.
what is going to happen? if he has swallowed a lot of it will he die what can i do please help?

You need to call a vet right now.

Or call the animal poison control center.

Its not very likely that the poison will do much to your dog but get it checked out to be on the safe side.

i will have to wait till monday because i am staying with my 18 year old brother who cant drive but i read something that said that barney would have to be showing side effects for it to have done any damage and he is fine but my mam and dad come back on monday so i will tell seek vetenairy advice then.

If you are so concerned that he will die ring the vet and ask them to come out. It will cost mind you !
But daddy will pay of course !
If the dog has ingested poisin then it could very well show up later not immediately.
If this is all true ..though I very much suspect it isn"t and it"s just another of your attention seeking threads ...then you are not fit to have a dog if you think it's eaten ant poison and are prepared to wait until Monday to get it looked at.

I don't know this person but I don't understand people writing this sort of thing if it is not true. There are a lot of caring people on here who give good advice so please don't waste their time when they could be helping someone else.

People get a bit wary of usernames with russian or similar letters in them
