What is it in some music or singing that sets some dogs howling? And can you train a dog to howl to order? Thanks!

Don't know, my dog never howls but he guard barks good. Also, I deliberatey conditioned him to bark at the Coronation St. end tune as i let him out for toilet at 8pm. when corrie is delayed so is he can tell the difference between start Corrie tune [no bark] and end Corrie tune [mucho bark] even if the time slot is wrong. I can't tell the diff between those 2 tunes, thought they were the same. he doesn't bark for the ads break Corrie theme either? Also some dogs watch tv, mine can't took him a year to learn how to see through a window.. :-)
I'm sure I heard that they howl because wolves howl in the wild together as a form of communication and hearing music or singing may sound like other dogs howling you seem to have your dog well trained what I'd like to know is why some dogs watch TV but others don't
They only howl to "music" which irritates them. A dog used to howl to order at the sound of a harmonica.
A dog howls when certain music is played because it actually 'hurts' their brain, i.e. high pitches of violins, harmonicas, it's actually cruel to make them do this and not funny!!
