I have long clear jelly like strands with dots about 2inches long on the underside of my water lilly leaves can you tell me what they are?

Could be snail eggs .. would need a piccy to confirm

It sounds like toad spawn, im not sure if now is the season for toad spawn but thats what it sounds like.
