Can anyone advise me of a good dog deodorant that works. I have a lovely staffordshire bull terrier but when she goes for walks in the rain or even just rolling in the grass, she can come back smelling disgusting. I've tried something from our local pet superstore but it doesn't really work. Has anyone any suggestions.

She's a dog - she's only smelling doggy. I think the smell of wet dog is lovely! I would never put anything unnaturally smelly on a dog of mine, the only thing I would use is a shampoo if they rolled in anything like fox poo - anything else brushes out when dry.
i have a staffie cross who's feet always smell!! I have used numerous products to try to eliminate the smell, but i find that wiping her over with Tesco baby wipes is fantastic. It gently cleans the coat without bathing and does not strip the coat of essential oils. Also eliminates odours.
my min pins feet smell too!! ye when i need to clean my dog i use baby wipes also, they are ideal!! x

thanks everyone - I'll give it a go. To be honest her feet don't smell just her coat, and it doesn't bother me too much, just other people!!!! I'll try the wet wipes.
She didn't roll over in foxes poo but probably another dog's poo that had not been cleared up. Have you not smelt it on your shoes when walking in the park!
i really miss not having a dog.

I don't miss the smell of wet dog.

I don't miss sitting in a room in the freezing winter with the windows open because the dog has a wind problem.

I miss having a walking bedwarmer.

Wet dog is an awful smell. Also dog rolling in seaweed at the beach is particularly alluring.
