It was only a few days ago that oliviac asked this and didn't have the courtesy to explain the reason for the question. And you, melneal, only have to look down the page to see the previous answers to this. Are you going to explain the reason for asking? & a dog called Nigel.

I'm afraid that as a newcomer to this site, I asked this question a few weeks ago. Anyway, my explanation is that melv(above) and some friends were bored in the pub one night and played that game where each person gives an answer in ascending alphabetical order on a chosen topic, namely animals. When they got to 'n' the second time around they had a struggle to answer it, hence I asked the question. By the way, can anyone supply a list of animals beginning with 'u'?!!!!!!!!
thanks Mr Williams - so now we know! U..... here's a few for a start..... http://www.vets.com/questionmanager/encyclopaedia/

When Mr Williams comments on why he asked the question a few weeks ago, he tells a little white lie... it was some friends of ours one Sunday morning in bed, and for some reason they couldnt think of anything to do apart from play various different versions of the alphabet game. They got stuck on n... came down the pub asked all of us. Wouldnt accept newt as an answer for some ridiculous reason so we spent a considerably long time annoying evertone else in the pub with he question. Mr Williams happened upon this site, told me about it, and hence now we are regulars!!
