Your vet should tell you when it will be ok, but normally they say 2 weeks after the second injection, so that the vaccine has time to work and the pups imunitiy is up

Oh no!! Was hopting it would be sooner - cant wait to get out with her!!
I know what you mean and it gets hard to keep them in your arms when you go out they do get heavy don't they!
but sorry 2 weeks is what they reccomend you have to let the pups immunity come back up to normal other wise it could pick up something from another dog even if it's been vaccinated against it

Oh well - at least I will have toned arms!!
I have always been told one week after the last jab - but provided you don't put her down where the local dogs all pee, then you should be ok to take her out now. I'd rather they were socialised (i.e. get used to sights/sounds etc) than be shut up at home. Just use common sense and only take her where there are no dogs.
Also not too long walks, 10 - 15 mins at a time is long enough at first.
i have just taken my lhasa apso puppy cassie for her 2nd injection and we have to keep her up for another week.
Then she is fully covered.
