Cat being sick after eating
4 Answers
Does anyone have an idea of what could be wrong with my cat? She must be about 14/15 years old now, and in all other respects is very healthy. The only thing is, just lately, she has been being sick after every meal. We have 2 cats and the other one is fine, so I know its not the food.
She satred doing this a few weeks ago, and then stopped for quite a while, so we thought whatever it was had gone away, but she's doing it again now! Any ideas?

In the meantime try and spread her food out so she takes longer to eat it, or try giving her smaller portions of food more frequently during the day.

Hi Alixw
My cat had a similar problem as he became older, the vet diagnosed that he had some kidney and liver problems due his age, and prescribed an injection of steriods every three months, it worked very well, he got a new lease of life and lived happily with us for about another three years, so I would definately visit your vet as soon as you can, good luck and Happy New Year
