Dog Fleas

Do fleas normally explode in water?? my puppy has fleas and i caught one and put it in water and it exploded after a few minutes?!?!

If you mean that the flea leaked blood, that is possible (but unlikely) its just been sucking it out of your dog. They do not explode!!! lol

13 years as a pest controller, I think I may have heard about exploding fleas!!
