We are the only ones to change our clocks back and fortward now. It something to do with Farmers and their farming as to why we still this. Also its to do with the war

what i don't understand is why no one else changes with us because that would mess up the time zones wouldn't it? e.g. in britain it would be 12 noon and in france they are one hour ahead, if we put the clocks forward an hour france is still only an hour ahead. Why is this if they don't change?

If you (and amandathorp1) had actually read the Wikipedia article you would have seen that many countries (around 70) observe Daylight Savings Time.

Most European countries change their clocks at the same time as we do. That's why e.g. France is always an hour ahead of the UK.

Britain is NOT the only country. The USA put theirs forward on the 11th March, which was 2 weeks early. They usually do it the same time as us
