my kittens only 11 months old and escaped lastnight, i know from her constant moaning that she has come in to heat, she is an indoor cat and when i went to look for her i found her being mounted by a young tom cat. she later arrived back home some time today, and is surprisingly quiet. what are the chances of her actually getting caught out and having her own litter???

oh dear dear, hard lesson to learn. Take her to the vets asap.
unlucky by name unlucky by nature.
May be a daft question, but why did you not bring her home when you found her? You may have prevented them going 'all the way' - and as usual I expect the father will not want to know and she will have to bring the poor kids up by herself. However, it takes two to tango!
