Red to Blonde!

Hi all. I have been dying my hair red with semi-permanent colour for about 2 months. I am naturally strawberry/ venetian blonde. I am a bit tired of the red now, and would like to go back to blonde, although maybe more of a coppery blonde. If I use a blonde dye, will it work on dyed-red hair? Or am I likely to turn orange? lol On the pack they always show you the end result from brown, but never from red....:O(

You should definitely get this done professionally - it may well end up orangish or even pink!

Mmmmmh...that's what I was thinking...Maybe if I let it fade a lot first, it would be easier to dye on top....ah well!
