Is it illegal to dispose of frogspawn and tadpoles? We noticed some in a bin that was filled with rainwater outside my sisters house and my immediate reaction was to pour it down the drain but then I had it in my mind that it was illegal to do this.

I don't know if it's illegal but it would be downright cruel to get rid of it!!!
Is it not illegal to take frogspawn/tadpoles from their habitat, but a few simples rules should be followed.
Ask permission from the person who owns the land where you want to take them from.
Do not take all the frogspawn/tadpoles from the pond/puddle, please leave a large proportion in the pond.
Don't keep them indoors. Preferably keep them in a pond or a shallow container outside so when they turn into frogs they can hop away.
When they do turn into frogs, remember they are wild animals and try not to keep them, let them go if they want to.

You want to pour it down the drain!!!!!

How thoughtless!!!!!!

Well lets just hope it is illegal, and if you do it, you get caught and heavily fined!!!!!!
No wonder nature is having such a hard time, please give some thought to your actions!
As the spawn is already in a bin, just take it to the local pond!!!

Jees, calm down would you. I haven't actually done anything! Despite the fact that most of them are dead anyway, there isn't a local pond. I have no idea where they came from.
