Buffalo, perhaps? I'm really stretching things on this one, John, but how about this?...There is a type of hen called a Buff Orpington, so - taking the first half of the double name - you get 'buff'. One of the bitterest plants is called 'aloe', so - dropping the 'e', but keeping the sound unaltered - gives you 'alo'. Put 'em together and voli�! Buffalo!
