I'd keep an eye (no pun intended) on it and if it doesn't clear up in a few days, you might want to consult a vet. If you can, at least take his temeprature... it should be 100.5 to 102.5 degrees Fahrenheit... Unfortunately, about the only way to take it is rectally, so you will get to know your cat on a new level if your'e sucessful... Best of luck!
i read this in a cat book "the pad of fat behind the eyeball shrinks making the eyeball retract into the socket and pushing the membrane across the eye" have you wormed him lately it could be worms we had a cat who had this symptom and after several vets visits and various eye creams i found this in the section on worming. ruth
meant to say we wormed him again and within a week his eyes were back to normal . if his eyes look sore or are running i would take him to the vet. also you say you have just moved could it be hay fever or a pollen allergy as the beagle gets hay fever at this time of year and has to have half a pirton 3times a day bless her
I had a cat with the same problem . The vet told me that it was too higher protein in his diet caused by commercial cat foods. I fed him on white meat and fish and it soon cleared up. I suggest if your cat is healthy you may want to try this . Tell me is your cat an oriental breed as they seem very prone to this.
His eyes are not sore, there is no discharge, he is not sneezing, or scratching, regularly deflead and wormed, but he has been eating a lot of canned meat lately being aglutton and his coat is shiny, he is running around like a kitten, and is perky....i will try him on a complete dry fod for a while see if it helps. THANKS !
