bare breasts

This problem must be sorted out. Two young ladies uncovered their breasts for the benefit of the CCTV camera. Was any complaint made by a member of the public? No! If they had been on the beach wearing only a miniscule g-string no action would have been taken. The Sexual Offences Act 2003 states that " A person commits an offence if he (does this apply to she?) intentionally exposes his genitals and intends that someone will see them and be caused alarm and distress."
I really don't know what our police are up to. An officer replied to this subject in Answer Bank months ago and he admitted they just don't know how to react sometimes. The public deserve to know what they can and cannot do in this matter. I hope somebody or some authority takes this matter in hand.

Whilst admittedly it's a juvenile thing for them to do, it's hardly crime of the century is it? And certainly nothing that merits the authorities spending time and money on.

Then why aren't the people who have the power doing something constructive about it? I anticipate that further answers will be in the same vein. Nobody in authority can be drawn out of their shell to face the public on this. Maybe they are waiting for someone else to deal with it. Meanwhile the police get drawn into these matters when they shouldn't be. In my experience the police investigate every trivial thing, take the side of the one complaining, face up to the supposed offender and not dismissing the matter as something irrelevant. I wasnt going to get involved in this but I will anyway. I think people flashing their boobs is seen to some as exactly that flashing and people can be offended. I dont fin it very amusing or very ladylike when I see girls drunk doing it. What do I want to see boobs for. Its not big and its not clever. Do the public really need to know what they can and cannot do? I cant see anyone asking if its ok to show their boobs, surely they should know its not the norm
Well they went on news and everything in uproar and it was shown on a programme about breast feeding last year. But in all honestly people have to understand that there are some people that do feel offended. Doesnt bother me at all but she could have gone into a nearby baby changing vicinity. Also the programme last year showed people reactions when the breast fed in restaurants. But theres breast feeding opening your shirt a bit then theres flopping you boob out on a table where people are eating.
what news story does this question refer to? 4get, I don't find it ladylike but I don't think that's enough reason for being taken to court. Unladylikeness isn't a crime. There are things that annoy me greatly but I wouldn't dream of suggesting they be made illegal. Anyway, here's someone who got their own back (perhaps she was misheard when she said she was taking out her Volvo...)
