I once met a gorgeous Old English Sheepdog called Reg. The owner was not amused when I fell about laughing...great name, though.

Staffy's are my favourite breed, they are mad as logs but very loving. I've had two in the family and my mother loved mine so much that when I moved to my own house she couldn't bear being parted from her.

In regards to names, colour of dog might help decide, but I like 'Gelert' named after a legendary dog form Wales! (legend of Beddgelert)
What about pringle? Someone I know has a dog called pringle and everyone loves the name.
Ozzy
My friend had a staffie some years ago and named it Tucker. The name was fine until the dog got out one night and my friend had to wander the streets shouting the name. She got some strange looks from the people turning out of the pub at closing time....a couple of them thought she was looking for a fight!
My neighbour's staffy now deceased was called Hilda and his russell is called George

Bullseye was a Bull Terrier not a Staffordshire Bull Terrier (oops sorry Terrior! LOL).

I'd go with Ozzy, as he was from that area (Osbourne).
How about Cripps? Stafford Cripps!
I once had a staffie and called it Odin meaning chief god in Norse mythology.
