leftover canary seeds

my canary wont eat a particular seed in the mix that i get for him, can i mix this with the seeds that i put out for the wild birds or keep it to make a fat ball for them? just looked and its the canary seed he doesnt like - can i get the others and mix them up myself for him?

You can put the seed he does'nt like out for the wild birds.

I should think the wild birds will love you forever if you give them good seeds, every little helps our poor garden birds especially now the colder season is upon us.
