Help us poor malnourished cats

Our human has decided to go on something called a diet.

She has also decided that Merlin and I go on a diet too. She has cut down our sachets from 1.5 to 1 each per day. She actually expects me to eat that dried Iams stuff!

Does this constitute cruelty to cats? Should I contact the SSPCA? Maybe we should look for another human to care for us.

I woke her up in the middle of last night by switching on the vacuum cleaner - but she didn't stop off at our bowls, she just glared at me and went back to bed.

This might be my last post - I might fade away and die.

Flossie has gone off for a nap so it's Daisy here. I can bring the catnip - our human gets us some really strong stuff which spaces us out totally!

Hello Frankie , and hi to Princess Merlin. My name is Porsche and I'm ....wait for it , don't get scared ......a dog.
I can empathise as my owner has put me on Pedigree Light now and is giving me more chicken than beef , all a bit of a blow to my self esteem .She says it's to stop me getting fat , what a cheek ! To add insult to injury she's cut down my treats dramatically .

I like dogs - I always used to wash our old dog and curl up and sleep with her. She used to grumble but I think she was secretly quite pleased.

We have never been around dogs before but I'm glad that you like kitties. When we see a dog outside the window we normally arch our backs and growl. Our human thinks we look stupid whilst doing this but its what we do. Would you like some catnip?

OOOOOO...catnipppppp......oh I DO like that...when mum brought me for the very first time exactly 3 weeks ago, i was a smartie and I found the catnip before she could even give it to me!!!...I am a very clever moggy!! puurrrrrrr.....but she hasn't let me have since then! Why is she so mean-they are only mild drugs!!.....so cats-we have toys,drugs,pouches(!).....anything else???

Oh I know! We can have that game where you have to fish a rubber duck using a pole...Except they'd be mouses instead and we wouldn't use poles? Oh, and they wouldn't be swimming in water (urgh!) they'd be running around on a track made of catnip?

They're the things your human gives you to play with! They're furry, and if you pull a string on the backside, they move!!!

There is a rumour that there are REAL LIVE ones, but I've never seen one yet. Mmmmmmmmh.....

I must be missing out...my human has only given me foil and plastic balls that i chase and hide. I have hidden at least 10 in 3 weeks-lol

My human also gives me washing up sponges (well...I steal them, but what's there is mine isn't it!) . You should definitely try them they're so much fun! They're light, and they grip to your paws, so you can play sponge ball with them! And when you're done playing, your human will emit a big sigh and take out that huge noisy thing she calls a "hoover". I don't like it at all! But that's a small price to pay, believe me. ;O)

We can have a nap-fest too, Rifle. I love napping! My human had a throw on the couch that I really really loved, and I wouldn't sleep anywhere else. So she had to put it in my basket so I would agree to sleep in the kitchen when she's not there. I tell ya, she's putty in my paw!
