hyenas do hunt down their fellow animals and kill them (they don't just take over old kills from lions), so it seems a fair comparison. You may think they only do it to eat; but this doesn't make much difference to their prey.

Well actually I am quite verbose, but that was a word I had never heard of at all. Given some of the idiots you get on here (and I am NOT including the OP because I haven't seen any other posts to judge) how was I to know if it was a spelling mistake or not.

Hyenas - like all other animals - can't speak. so they're unlikely to take offence. mIf you're thast concerned try and hug one of the things. you wouldn't last a minute (I only lasted 23 seconds)

Hyenas are pretty good to thier own kind. If one is injured they will take care of it until it gets better.
If a human is injured they would get left on a trolly in a hospital. Wait ages for treatment, get written off if it's bad, ignored, looked down on, and generaly put upon. So as it goes I think that whole statement id detrimantal to Hyenas.
