Can someone help - I bought a new kitten about 3 weeks ago - I already had a neutured male and he has gone off the rails. I do spoil him but he rufuses to come in the house and when he does its for seconds and attacks the kitten. I think its jealously - but why does he go out the house? why does'nt he stand his ground and let me carry on spoiling him? And how can I intice him back in the house? Its like having a spoilt child. I have bought him fresh salmon, tuna and chicken but it dont really help. Any suggestions?

try puttingthe kitten in a crate for 5 mins a day & have the cat in th room & then let the kitten out & see what happens
Your cat obviously feels under threat from the new 'pack member' and feels his territory is no longer his own.

The suggestion by sammy007 is a good one - let your cat see that the kitten is actually no real threat - without the facility for him to attack the little one - and hopefully he will assimilate the kitten into his life, and home.

When the kitten grows to full size, there will be the usual jostling for position, but at least your kitten will be able to punch his weight in a fairer fight.
