Back from my travels - oops mean coffee. I have no adverts at all now, which makes me feel left out!

I've sorted out the knuckle-dragging local from the bottom of my garden; I grovelled and asked if he could cortar els abres derrere su jardi (catalan) and he growled into his red beard (I kid you not) yes, but not today - you see he knows he has to cut the trees in his garden cos they overhang my pathway, but won't agree to do it immediately. He hates foreigners and thinks I am one! tut!!

Swedish Idol again tonight, here's a clip from last week. As guest juror Desmond Child says, this competition is over In reality it isn't, but you see what he means. I've a confession to make: Kevin Borg isn't Swedish, he moved here less than a year ago to live with his girlfriend and to enter this competition. He's from Malta. Seems genuinely nice, I actually cried in front of the teve a couple of weeks ago because he seems so trusting and happy, he's like a puppy that no one's ever said a harsh word to. The blonde lady in the audience is his mother-in-law.

Hi Kit No I don't want my red xmas tree piccies, but thank you, I want one that I used as a wallpaper last xmas, it's a big fireplace with a red wooden wing chair in front and a few old fashioned toys, it was like an old cottage and I loved it but cannot find it for the world. I may have posted it in suggs or somewhere.

Haven't heard re sis today, but guess no news is good news, she was feeling dozy yesterday and slept mostly. Her son is waiting so as to be with her when the cancer results come back. Thanks all for your care and concern.
