Hi

I look at you as the animal oracle and wonder if you could recommend a good wormer for Pickles.

The tablet ones seem to make her sick within about 30 mins so wonder if there is an altenative?

If not, could you tell me the best tablet one and I can try again.

Many thanks Sally & Pickles too!

Hee hee - your username always makes me smile - my maiden name was Pickles!!
For general use Drontal Plus tablets, but if you want a liquid one Panacur 10% Liquid. I use the liquid for in whelp bitches and baby puppies, then go on to Drontal for older dogs. I only worm about twice a year, or if a bitch is in whelp.

Both can be ordered from any of the online veterinary suppliers, such as petdispensary, or hyperdrug.

The ones from the pet shops are not much good, and a lot of vets are now recommending Milbemax which I would not use as it can have bad side effects on some dogs, particularly collie types, although not just those.

Make sure you give them with food if the instruction say so, this helps them digest them. Usually about a fifth of their daily amount in the morning, with the tablet.
