my dog has a cough

my boxer had the kennel cough drops at the vet last wk as he is due to go into kennels on friday(15th) but afew days after he had the drops he has a cough,sounds like he has a furball in his throat. i am worried the kennels won't take him.

Thats why it is always recommended to have the kennel cough vaccine a couple of weeks before kennelling. Provided he is not actually coughing by Friday you should be ok and he should have stopped by then. Even full blown kennel cough only lasts about a week or so. Have a word with you vet, and ask if he would be willing to speak to the kennels, and reassure them he will be ok.
