Idiots are everywhere,keep talking to her and reasurring her but don't let her sense your stress and hopefully she'll forget it,I do hope so.
Grr... Some people are just so stupid. Is this not enough reason to make fireworks a licensed commodity so only sensible people can use them and have access to them?

Perhaps a few walks towards dusk might settle her down a bit. For the first time hang around your home so as soon as she shows sign of stress you can have her home in a flash. Later as things go well, go home gradually when it becomes darker. Perhaps she will settle.
I am not usually sympathetic towards dog owners who have a problematic dog because of their own stupidity, but this was beyond your control and I hope you will be able to cure her of the nerves.
do you know i have a lil minpin and she is happy to run around my garden/back green/cul de sac but if there is a noise of any description she wont go out at all, fireworks even on the tv scares her and im at a loss i soooo need help with her its been a loooong while since we went for a walk and i feel its ruining her life i feel for you hun i do
Hi,
words fail me at the stupidty of some people!!!!!

I agree with the walking her a dusk exercise....take plenty of treats with you [and only reward her for walking on nicely] and if she hears a firework or the like....make sure you keep calm! Don't 'pet' her....just keep walking confidently.
Is there another dog you could walk her with? My Dane Lola was petrified of fireworks....which led to her being fearful of being walked in the dark....but she has just been joined by Sam [a rescue Dane] and now runs round the forest in the pitch black quite happily :O}
She will get over it....I promise!!!!
