Hi Natalie:
A rescued Yorkie called Benji, victim of severe cruelty and neglect.
A cross Jack Russell/Irish Terrier Bitch
called Megan - Benji's best mate
A Blind, epileptic ginger cat called William. Eleven years old and still enjoying life in his secure environment.
A rescued black and white cat called Alice
A rescued little black cat who is the ugliest moggy out as she has been involved in an accident (or cruelty) with chemicals and lost a lost of her
teeth and mouth. She is now very well as long as she takes the tablets! Her name is Mollie.
That's it at the moment, no doubt there will be more!
An insane red setter called Rosy, a dalmation called Portia and a rescued Jack Russell terrier called... Jack (we couldn't think of a name, and didn't want to just call him 'dog')
What big heart you have Fakeplastic, it takes dedication to look after cruelty cases and I admire you for it.
My son wants to do reptile rescue, but unfortunately we don't have the room. I've hardly got space for the furniture as it is!!!
Trouble is Lindy, we will never have any spare money to go out - hence I spend most evenings looking through AB!
We just can't stand any form of neglect to animals or people and apart from hoping we are doing our little bit to put things right, I have to admit that we get loads of enjoyment from our animals so there is reward for us.
Oh londondave my son would love your collection!! You sound as bad as us!!!
Fakeplastic, do you mind me calling you FP? No money, nights on AB, about the same age, you sure we're seperated identical twins or is it clones??!!
I haven't got red hair Lindy so we can't be clones or identical twins! I think there are quite a few on AB in our age group enjoying the site for all the nice people on here (well mostly nice people) Also, my husband is away a great deal with his job and I can't stand television. I live in an isolated situation so just can't pop out in the evening to see friends without having to drive at least five miles. AB gives me a chance to have a chat!
Blimey don't i feel boring! One cat (aged 7) called Princess Jasmine. Really admire all the people who do the rescue/cruelty adoption thing, i can't even go in places like that cos i know i'd have to take them all home, i really don't know how i could choose. All the lizards and stuff is SO cool though!
I have a couple of moggies, one being a four year old "tuxedo" tom cat named Charlie and the other, a seventeen year old female black cat called Prat. Whose name often causes amusement at the vets when he calls out her name in the waiting room!
I have four cats who have all been rescued. Never planned 4 but just couldn't say no.
16 years old called 'Lazy Bones'
12 years old called 'No Name'
8 years lod called 'Which One'
7 year old called 'What Cat'
It's a good job that I love cats.
