Is it okay to feed a pet rabbit cucumber?

They eat them in my garden... what can possibly happen except the rabbit burps...
My rabbit used to love them, I'd make him a cucumber and carrot salad. Also, he used to go mad for carrot tops and dandielion leaves!
I think it's o.k as long as it hasn't come straight out of the fridge.same with other veggies. I read it can give them stomach ache.

Thanks everyone ..... Harry had sonme cucumber today and so far seems to prefer the skin to anything else lol.

rabbits can eat almost any type of vegetable...however, .lettuce is very bad for rabbits.....i know this contradicts the whole rabbit in the lettuce patch scenario...but lettuce causes stomach rot in rabbits

emmagreeny - I am interested in your comments about not giving veggies straight from the fridge.  I wondered if you could tell me where you read that or send me a link if it was on the internet?
