Skin problems with my West Highland White Terrier

Has anyone found a solution to this problem. I have a three year old bitch and and have spent a fortune on remedies for her without much long term success. I have been told about immunotherapy.. it might cost �300.00 but it is very successful.. Does any one out there know much about this?
