Sprocker
2 Answers
Has anyone got a sprocker dog? My son has the chance to replace a much loved cocker spaniel who passed away just before Christmas with a sprocker. The mother is the springer, and the father a cocker, the puppies look delightful from the photos I have been sent over the net. Both dogs are from ordinary family homes next door but one from one another and my son has been introduced to the parents and the puppies in the family home enviroment I think the sprocker will take more exercising than a cocker coming from the Mothers genes... any comments?

All puppies are delightful, I may be wrong but it seems as though this is just two pet dogs who have been allowed to mate, did the owners plan it, have they had the dogs health checked at all, are the parents KC registered? Ok if he wants to take a chance, but breeders get a bad name for producing puppies with problems, when litters like this are born without any checks.

Thank you Lankeela for your reply. I will pass on your comments to my son. He has told me both the parents are KC registered but as to the other checks I don't know.
The Mother is 5 years old that I do know and this is her first litter, so she is not used for breeding, but is a family pet.
The Mother has been under a vets care all through the pregnancy, so she is well loved ,and belongs to responsible people.
