Hi, I have a three year old male cat who was neutered at 6 months. Before he was done, we kept seeing his penis when he was washing himself, but never since. I was wondering If they take his todger when they neuter him, or just the balls.

Not important really. Just wondering.

No they don't, they just give them the *snip* as it were.

I had a male Birman neutered who seemingly came back *intact* (could still see he had his balls) I phoned the vet and they explained.

Usually they remove the testicles during the operation - if they removed anything else where would he wee from?
