how do i stop my cat scratching my wall paer

ive recently decorated and for some reason, which never before as the cat done this, she is 4 year old and as been steralized,,
She as this what i call , a bad habbit , of scratching the wallpaper, and its starting to realy annoy me now, im fed up of replaceing it,
Have you and answers on how to stop this, apart from get rid of my cat.which i am not willing to do.

there are sprays that you can ise to repel your cat from the area but they are not always successful. My advice is to give him something specifically to scratch like a BIG scratch post or something with catnip.

Have to agree..a large scratching post with plenty of catnip spray.

Patch test a bit of the wall that can't be seen with some Orange smelling household cleaner. Cats HATE citrus. This is how I stopped my young lady scratching a particular bit of carpet.
