Hi madboutcats. Thanks for the super pic of Samuel Peeps. How handsome is he !!! He looks very like my Frankie except that Frankie has a small vertical white line on top of his head between his ears. Frankie is quite a lot better tonight, I shall pass on to him Samuel Peeps instructions on relaxing as he seems to be such an expert. Thanks again. Much love to Samuel Peeps, and of course yourself. Schutz.
Hi Cathy. Please tell Jack that Big Frankie is feeling a lot better tonight. Also that it is now 8 days since his operation, and already there's a fine white fluff growing back on his tummy, so it shouldn't be too long before he look his handsome self again. It's getting a bit warmer in Cheshire this week, but if it turned really cold I would knit Big Frankie a coat :-) (thankfully I don't think that will be necessary). Big Frankie has been awake a bit more today, and we both send our love to Jack, Little Frankie, and all the family. Much love. Schutz. Hope you enjoy the weekend, are you doing anything nice?
Lol @ swedeheart!
Woohoooo...Frankie's done a No.2!
I feel quite peculiar celebrating cat poo I must say, but what good news Schutzy. It's looking like Frankie is going to be just fine. With a little more recuperation time and lots more TLC, he'll be back to being his old self again. I'm sure when you see the vet on Tuesday he/she will be delighted with his progress. All the best for his continued recovery Schutz.
Much love,
Aprilis x x x

Hi Swedeheart. Where on earth did you find that picture, I'm still chuckling about it. Top Marks how could Frankie do any better. Thanks to the Swedish Jury. Ruth's Issy is so beautiful, and looks so wise. Madaboutcats Samuel Peeps is such a handsome lad who certainly knows all about relaxing. Thanks so much, and I'm pleased to say that I feel much better tonight, as Frankie has had two good meals today, and is now fast asleep again, but has been awake for a couple of hours this afternoon. So it looks like all systems go for him. Have you seen the little lady today? I do hope we don't lose contact once Frankie is totally better. Much love. Schutz.
Hi Schutz as from Sunday to the following Saturday will be offline ( not on AB or emails) as will be staying with mama in law/mi suegra for 6 days whilst hubby goes away on a course to do with plumbing( further his plumbing career). You will be in my prayers as well as thoughts. Delighted that Frankie is much better/almost out of woods. Our dog is also happy for you- he sends his love. Have made good progress on cross stitching today + will take this away to my mama in law/suegra's house. Will be great to be offline actually. Change is as good as a rest!! So, will catch up with you in 6-7 days time :-) Hugs to you, to Frankie + kind regards to your hubby. Love, your friend, Bea :-)
Hi Aprilis. I still can't stop laughing at Swedeheart's top marks for Frankie. Thanks again for your continuing support. I'm beginning to look forward to Tuesday to find out what Ed the Vet has to say. You know Frankie and Ed are on first name terms, because Ed sees Frankie on a regular basis when he checks Frankie's blood count for the epilepsy medication. Poor Frankie has had quite a rough time one way and another, after his previous owners moved house and left him behind. After seeing him around for 2 or 3 weeks and getting thinner, he followed our Felix home, and got his paws under the table and stayed, only for us to discover that he had epilepsy, which was probably why he was dumped due to the ongoing expense of treatment for the rest of his life. All this and he's still only 3. At least now Frankie knows he is secure and loved, and has a good home for all his life. How those people could just leave him to fend for himself when he was ill is quite beyond me. I'm so glad he found us. Hope you have a good Bank Holiday Weekend. Much love. xxxx Schutz.
I think people think cats can fend for themselves
My last cat, George, was in his teens when he was ound as a stray He was so thin they thought that he would die and he was infested with loads of yucky things.
Because of a deformed back he couldn't leap or run at any speed. He had no hope of catching anything.
Any time that I have considered moving house the needs of my two furrballs come first. They are my family.

Hi Bea. I hope you and doggy enjoy your stay with mama-in-law. I'll miss our chats. I'll be thinking about your hubby and hope all goes well on his course. I'll be in touch when you get back. As always, you, hubby, and dog will be in my prayers. Big Hugs to all of you. Much love from all of us. xxx Schutz.
Oh thanks Shutz and Aprilis, glad to have made you laugh! *thinks to herself* Shall I henceforth be remembered as "the Swede with the t*rds"... Schutz I google imaged for... erm, that word that rhymes with bird (don't know if you're allowed to print it here of if you'll be rewarded with four stars from the AB robots), came up with this and did the rest in Paint, the program that comes with Windows. The original image was entitled Girl T*rd, but don't tell Frankie!
I have to admit I almost try to avoid visiting the Animals & Nature topic, partly because I don't keep pets anymore but also because I suffer when animals suffer, it's hard to read those stories. But sometimes something catches my eye in the Recent Posts box, like when I saw your "She made it!" post about Tansy, Schutz, and the one about Frankie a week ago. But I'll be sure to keep an eye open in future if you post a piccy of Frankie! And we'll all meet in other cat-a-gories won't we, even after Frankie's recovered completely. That may still be a while so you're not getting rid of me just yet;-)
Wolf I'm so glad George met you.

Good Afternoon Swedeheart. I'm so glad you are not just going to disappear off into the wide blue yonder. I agree with you that it is sometimes very difficult to read posts in Animals & Nature, like you it often is painful to read. There are sometimes some lovely posts, so I suppose it's just a case of keeping an eye out on 'Recent Posts'. I would love to post a photo of Frankie, but to be honest I haven't a clue how to do it. What would I need to start from scratch. I use my computer mostly for work nearly every day, so have never delved into the intricacies of posting photos and links. I will have to get around to it soon I think. By the way Tansy is doing great, she's got an extension from the vet from 4 weeks to 8 for her BP checks, as he is so pleased with her condition. Not bad for 22 is it. Frankie is doing really well now, but still sleeping most of the time. Have you seen the little lady cat since you took her photo? In the meantime till I can sort out how to get organised into photos, Madaboutcats Samuel Peeps is almost a mirror image of my Frankie, if I didn't know better I would have thought it was him. I'll watch out for you in other cat-a-gories. Love Schutz.
Evening Schutz, that has reminded me to take my own BP pill, ha ha No haven't seen the pretty lady cat again, I don't walk down that block so often, but there are quite a few cats around even here in the city as there are lots of umm don't know the right word yards? between buildings.
Oh Frankie, are we gonna see your piccy! Schutz the first thing you need to do is to upload the photo to a folder in My Pictures on your computer. Perhaps you've already done that or know how to do it, if not, it's in the operating intructions for the camera. (I think.)
Next, you need a site that will host your photo and give you a link to post on AB which will lead us to the photo when we click the link. TinyPic is the site I'd recommend, because you don't have to sign up to use it. Theoretically when you use TinyPic you make your photo public to the rest of the world but in this case that doesn't make any difference as you're gonna post it here anyway.
So, go to
http://tinypic.com/
and place your cursor in the field that says Browse. (I get the Swedish version of TinyPic, but I think it says Browse) As you do so, you will be directed to your own hard drive and you'll be able to navigate to where you know you've saved your photo. (Don't worry if you don't understand this as you're reading it now you will understand once you're doing it.) When you see the photo you want, doubleclick on it.
Next, click the green button (on TinyPic) that says Upload. In a matter of seconds your photo will be uploaded and you'll see a list of links under the heading Links to Share. Click once in the field that says Direct Link for Layouts ; this will automatically copy that link for you. All you have to do now is to paste that link into the text that you're writing on AnswerBank, ta-da, nothing to it!

That's the basic way of doing it, and the link that you paste onto AnswerBank will look as crude when posted as it did when you copied it from TinyPic, but that's okay. But if in the future you want to do it the neat way and give your link a title (as I'm about to do right now:), this is the AnswerBank tutorial which shows you how to label your link. No need to bother with that right now though.
Don't forget there's always the preview function when you're posting on AnswerBank - you'll be able to check in Preview whether your link is working or not before you actually post.
Shaun Ellis the Devon Wolf Man is on the telly tonight so I'll desert you for now but this should keep you busy for a while, Schutz, ha ha! Good luck, I'm looking forward to "meeting" Frankie face to face<3

Hi Swedeheart. Just a very quick reply as I have been working and it's getting very late. Thanks for the information, but I really did mean starting from scratch. So first will have to be buying a camera. I had a look at some today and they are very expensive. I'll have to take some advice from a friend who has a good one, as I wouldn't have a clue what kind to look for. Added to which it will be a little while before I can get one, as Frankie's vet bill last Saturday was 630.00 and there's still at least 2 more bills to come. So I'll have to save up again :-( Night, Night, for now. Love Schutz.
