What do you think?

My sister has turned up unexpectedly after her aged MIL's dog bit her 2-year-old-son. The dog itself is 15, on its last legs, and has virtually no teeth. The MIL is blind (she lives with them) and the dog is precious to her. My sister also has 2 dogs of her own, which she adored and cherished for the years when she couldn't have a baby. As soon as she had successful IVF, she wanted rid of the dogs, but her husband refused. Now she is refusing to go home until all the dogs are destroyed. But her son was constantly tormenting the dogs, pulling their ears and whiskers. Ever since she has become a mother, she has been smug, arrogant and self-important. Yesterday, she was demanding that people go outside and smoke, and it was THEIR house, not HER'S ! But if we stand up to her, she is so stubborn, she'll break contact with us, until we go crawling to her. Do you think she is right to demand destruction of the dogs?

My sister is very hypocritical too. When she was pregnant, she got uppety one day, because one of our dogs was barking. She said it was bad for the baby. Yet she sat there tucking into fatty bacon sandwiches and several bags of crisps. When I made a comment about what she was feeding the baby, she hit the roof and started screaming !!!
