Paraffin, you really are becoming a pain. Why do you have to bring in carting dogs round the country for personal vanity to this thread. Apart from being absolute *rap, it is your opinion, so keep it to yourself.
Marali, the information 'P' gave is also incorrect, not ALL dogs moult, and when they do, it can be determined by age. For example, in my long coated breed, they tend to have their first drop (moult) between the age of 14 - 26 months when they will drop their puppy coat. A bitch will then drop around four months after her heat cycle, and a dog, once a year thereafter, which is not necessarily in the summer.
I have also found Yumega to be an excellent additive to the dogs diet, and if you view the Yumega site and the Dog press, you will see it is very popular, not only with people that show their dogs.
The Furminator has had some good reports on short coated breeds, but dont go through all long coated breeds coats.
