Doggy burps

Over the past few decades, we have had dogs and cats.
Wonderful idiots all of em, but this latest dog really burps and hiccups. Not frequently enough for a vet visit but expresses her disapproval of my laughing (cat in previous life) Does anyone have a pet that burps and hiccups occasionally. (Refusing to discuss bottom burps btw!!)

both ours used to hiccup as pups and still do very occasionally and one of them who is a big gobbles his food and burps afterwards

The pup here has hiccups a lot . The old story was that hiccups were a sign of worms in a dog ! During the vaccination visit the vet said that it's quite common in pups and nothing to do with worms. Another idea gone. Next they'll be saying that dogs don';t chase their tails because of something in the bread they've eaten !.LOL

when ours were smaller they would get hiccups (puppicups) together and it was like living with two of those mechanical dogs that trot along then sit down and bark giving a little jump each time.

woofgang, "puppicups" is really cute term!
Sometimes after a splash in the beck, our Collie gives a little burp. Charming!
