is it me or is it particulary bad this year we used to have 2 dogs and 3 cats we lost the dogs not so long ago so we are down to 3 cats only.
Despite all the regular flea protection & house sprays the problem seems 100 times worse year, i have emptied 2 tins of house spray with no great effect. (zodiac ,one of the so called better ones) our downstairs is all laminate & tiling and this seems the worse bit !!
Any sensible suggestions appreciated..

Our cat Milly is two years old & this is the first time she's had fleas! It has been driving her potty & even after treatment is taking so long to clear up.

I'm constantly washing the window sills from dead fleas & blood marks where she's been biting herself to bits, poor thing.

Our daughter's cats have been the same & now their dog!

I can only recommend Frontline Flea Drops on the back of the neck & hope for the best like us!

Good luck.
I'm so sorry to hear you lost your dogs, one of mine crossed the rainbow bridge 3 months ago. I've had dogs for longer than I care to remember and never seen a flea until 2 weeks ago when Meg had an infestation of little red things. The vet gave me (sold me) Prac-tic, it worked very quickly. Sprayed bedding, rugs, etc with Bob Martin flea spray. Not had a problem since.
Hi again chas - I've just phoned the vets again to ask how long it usually takes for cat fleas to disappear after using the Frontline flea drops - a long shot I know.

The lady told me that apart from using the drops, to wash her cat bed/blanket, then to spray everywhere with something called 'Indorex Household Spray'.

She also suggested using a flea comb to rid her of any nits, so I'm going to try that later!

Hope that helps.

P.S. I'm itching just thinking about it!
P.S. The Indorex Household Spray is 16.47 for a 500ml tin!

Bloomin' expensive, but these fleas have to go.....
