RSPCA greed?

The RSPCA offered 3.6% settlement of £2,34m property willed to them by the timid wife of a bullying husband. The Will was contested by the daughter - she won! Justice! RSPCA are appealing judgement - that's where your donations are spent.

The RSPCA did not coerce, force or manipulate them in to leaving their assets to the RSPCA. I would like to think that my Will will be carried out as I expressly want, not challenged in court.
It is up to me who I leave my worldly goods to.

Also, 'bullying' husband died 10 years ago - surely 'timid' wife had plenty of time to change her will. Maybe she just didn't want her daughter to have the money....

Strange - the RSPCA are currently threatening to sue a GSD Rescue - what for? Using 'RSPCA'!! So be carefull where/how you use the name!!

"OCT 1st 2009 STOP PRESS: The legal team from the UK's largest and richest animal welfare charity, have today contacted this rescue threatening to sue for Trademark Infringement for using the acronym that is their name. If you have made a will that contains this acronym, please contact your solicitor immediately to make sure you don't infringe their trademark. We have checked and it is OK to replace offending acronym with 'CINNAMON TRUST'."
