What is the world's biggest NON -tarantula spider in the world.Banana Spider lists for North America - but is it also in the whole world?

I'm gong to swim with basking sharks and manta rays too :c) .... And I'll be just outside Sydney I think so I guess it's not so bad. I thought about maybe going to the Zoo and having a look at the bugs, get myself acquainted sort of... I'm more excited than I am nevous though.
Oz huntsman at 11.8 inches - bigger than a dinner plate; fast runners, jump and their bite is like a bee sting. The Only way to kill them is a long handled swat or wet mop. They crawl on you at night 'cause they want moisture - use a mossy net!
